This guy who isn't Russell Brand will play a member of the Nova Corps alongside John C. Reilly.

Peter Serafinowicz's 700,000 Twitter followers were elated last week to learn that Serafinowicz will be playing a member of the Nova Corps in Marvel's upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Serafinowicz must either be famous or extremely adept at posting funny cat pictures, because that's a lot of fucking followers.
Ah, now we get it. Serafinowicz is famous for voicing Darth Maul in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Damn! You get 700,000 twitter followers for that?! Way to go, dude. Ahmed Best, the guy who voiced Jar Jar Binks, has like 5,000, and all he tweets about is Trayvon Martin ("Meesa tink Zimmerman shoulda never got outta bombad car!").
Oh, it looks like Serafinowicz also has a show on BBC Two where he puts on a fat suit and plays a character called Brian Butterfield. Now that's the type of humor us Americans understand. He's like the white, British Eddie Murphy.
You can learn more about Peter Serafinowicz at his website.
Guardians of the Galaxy starring Vin Diesel as Galactus will be in theaters on August 1, 2014.
