A Google Chrome browser warning is appearing on sites with advertising content from Warner Bros., parent company of DC Comics.
This reporter was trying to read an article on The Onion last night when I was stopped dead in my tracks by a browser warning from Google Chrome which refused to let me view the site. At first, I was annoyed. I'm a fairly knowledgeable computer user and I don't need Google preventing me from viewing a website at my own discretion. But then, I saw what had offended Google's malware filters, and I knew I had to share it with you, dear readers.
It was Warner Bros., the parent company of DC Comics.
Check out the screenshot below, and, just in case, maybe you want to avoid sycophant mainstream comics sites like CBR, which plaster their pages with advertisements from DC Comics (and Marvel), until Warner gets this sorted out.
