With Gamescom underway, a few announcements have been trickling out for the XBox and now PS4, with the big one being the PS4 release date. With XBox One coming in November, PS4 isn't willing to let them win the month, releasing their $400 console on November 15th. Unfortunately, the European market will have to wait for a couple weeks, they get the PS4 on November 29th.
In other PS4 news today, TwitchTV announced they aren't leaving Sony gamers and they will be coming to the PS4.
You demanded it and we’re delivering: Twitch is coming to the PlayStation 4 http://t.co/PpGblXFmE7— Twitch (@TwitchTV) August 20, 2013
And the same for Minecraft:
Although some gamers haven't been happy to see Sony going to paid online subscriptions, most knew it would be coming as content was added to compete with XBox Live. Today they sweetened the deal, announcing that a free 14-day Playstation Plus trial will come with the purchase of all consoles. If gamers decide to purchase the year-long plan for $50, they will get an additional 90 days for free. This will also give you access to PS+ games: Driveclub and Resogun.
