Source: The Beebs himself on Instagram
Greetings! It is I, El Presidente, reporting from the business end of a two person horse costume!
Major scoop tonight! It's a good thing I follow all the hot young celebs on the Twitter and the Instagram!
Justin Bieber instagrammed a photograph of himself holding what appears to be the script to Superman vs. Batman along with the hashtag #robin and two questions marks today, leading the internet to speculate that he will be playing Robin in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel. My friends, I hate to tell you, but this is just a prank by The Beebs, who is famous for his sense of humor. Just a few months ago, The Beebs trolled the Anne Frank museum when he signed their guestbook saying he hoped Frank would have been a belieber (the nickname for Bieber's fans).
Ha ha ha! Now he is trolling Batman fans! Look:
But comrades, what if this was not a joke? What if Bieber really was going to play Robin? I think it would be a great idea. With Ben Affleck playin the Caped Crusader, there is no way the movie is going to be any good. And if you can't be good, you might as well be great at being bad. A Dynamic Duo of Affleck and Bieber would be epicly bad. That that, my friends, would be good. Are you following me?
Besides, Belieber brings the tween girl demographic to the Batman franchise, which can only possibly be a good thing. The comic book industry has been struggling to find new readers for decades. What better way than by giving superheroes The Beebs Stamp of Approval?
It's a lot like when my little buddy Che Guevara decided he was going to give up fomenting revolution in South America and start a rap metal band. I thought he was crazy at first, but he moved to America, found some hipsters to play backwards Led Zeppelin riffs, lodged a piece of old Swiss cheese in his throat and started rapping, and, viola, Rage Against the Machine was born. Che turned a new generation of mopey white teenagers onto the communist revolution with his music, and that's what The Beebs could do for comic books.
Trust me, comrades. This would be great for business!
