Greetings, comrades! It is I, your El Presidente, reporting from the floor of the United States House of Representatives, where I have just finished delivering a spectacular filibuster on Obamacare!
Why did I stop? It is because I just found about an amazing scoop, my friends! David Goyer, WB's answer to Joss Whedon, is working on a Constantine TV show for NBC! Deadline got the jump on this story, but only because I was too busy looking out for your nation's future. I mean, come on, comrades! Take it from an expert: if you are going to have a socialist healthcare plan, it should at least be a single payer system. Americans. Ha ha ha! You never do anything right!
People, this is big news. Goyer will join The Mentalist's Daniel Cerone to write and executive produce the show for NBC. The show has been sold with penalty, which is an industry term that means that if NBC doesn't choose to turn the pilot into a series, they
lose five yards and it's an automatic first down they have to pay a huge fee to the producers of the show. So this one is very likely to make it to television, where it could possible join a recently announced Comissioner Gordon/Gotham City TV show, which was recently picked up by Fox.
It will be interesting to see if they manage to pull off a decent adaptation of John Constantine. On the one hand, DC Comics canceled the long-running and popular Hellblazer Vertigo series to produce a watered down, PG-13 version in the Nu52, which seriously pissed off fans. And then there was Keanu Reeves. No. We shall not speak of Keanu Reeves.
Of course, what everybody really wants to know is the same thing they want to know every time they hear about a new superhero movie or television show being made: what role will Joseph Gordon-Levitt play?! My friends, it is too early to tell, but your El Presidente is, as usual, the first person to mention it, so when we do find out, remember that you got the scoop here.
Keeping score, baby! Hollywood!

El Presidente gave up his position as President and Prime Minister of Cuba, as well as First Secretary of Cuba's Communist Party, in 2008 in order to concentrate on his true love: Hollywood gossip reporting. Forming the rumor website Cubano Review, El Presidente built a name for himself based on over THREE DOZEN industry credited trade scoops. Unfortunately, capitalist American trade embargoes have rendered CubanoReview.com unreachable from within the United States, forcing El Presidente to syndicate his articles to The Outhouse, which flies under the radar of the American oligarchy thanks to most leaders assuming it is a scat porn site, which, to be fair, is basically true.
