Back in 2007, Warner Bros. was working on a Justice League movie script with director George Miller that never ended up getting made (because they're Warner Bros.). The film would have spun out of Batman Begins and Superman Returns, though it would have starred Armie Hammer as Batman instead of Christian Bale, reportedly, and DJ Cotrona as Superman. A number of other actors and actresses were rumored for the roles of the other members, including Common, Adam Brody, Megan Gale, Anton Yelchin, Santiago Cabrera, and Hugh Keays-Byrne, all names which we swear are real actors that we are not making up. The script, written by Kieran and Michele Mulroney, is about Batman developing a spy satellite to watch Earth's super-powered heroes, because Batman is a dick. And you can read it online here:
The movie was eventually scrapped, possibly due to the script being terrible, though we may still get a Justice League movie down the line, which will hopefully star actors people have heard of, not to discredit the skills of Anton Yeltzin, who we're sure is as fine an actor as his brother Boris. (To the commenters who will attempt to deduct nerd points because I don't know Anton Yelchin played Checkov in Star Trek, I say to you, TTTHHHPPPPPPTTTTTHHHHTTTTTT) (Bonus Points to the first one of you who manages to claim the script is better than an episode of Agents of SHIELD before Outhouse reporter IVCNUB4 does). In any case, we'd love to hear your thoughts, as, though the movie was fated to never be, we all have a second chance to bitch about it now.
