With ratings being rather bleak, NYCC is arriving this weekend to give a ray of hope to Legend of Korra fans. It was just announced (via Entertainment Weekly) that Steve Yeun (The Walking Dead) will be joining the panel to talk about the character he'll be voicing on the show: Wan, the First Avatar.
Not only that, but attendees at the panel will be shown "Beginnings Parts 1 & 2" which showcase Wan becoming the First Avatar (non-atttendees to the panel will have to wait October 18 for the two-parter). Yeun will be joined by fellow Korra voice actors Janet Varney (Korra) , PJ Byrne (Bolin), co-creator Bryan Konietzko, and director Joaquim Dos Santos for the panel.
Alongside this bit of news, EW also showed off a clip of Wan in action:
The Legend of Korra NYC panel will be on Saturday, October 12
11:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Empire Stage 1-E. If there's any bit of news that comes from the panel, you can easily expect we'll cover it.
