Defying the predictions of Internet nerds everywhere, Marvel's Agents of SHIELD was given a back nine order, meaning that it will air at least a dozen more episodes than Firefly. Faced with middling reviews and vitriol usually reserved for battles over politics and religion, Agents of SHIELD has seen a sharp drop in viewership since debuting three weeks ago, from over 12 million viewers in its first week, to under 8 million last episode. However, it's managed to compete on a competitive Tuesday against NCIS and The Voice, and has had competitive ratings in the all important 18-49 demo.
In related news, Outhouse posters stated they were looking forward to nitpicking the worst show on television to death for an additional nineteen episodes.
