I barely remember much about Thor's pals from the first movie, but Lady Sif, i.e. Jaimie Alexander, is definitely all the talk with Thor: The Dark World opening. First was the buzz that she has been talking to Warner Bros., leaving everyone to flip out that she might be cast as Wonder Woman. Followed up with talk of her returning for Thor 3 and even mentioning interest in a Lady Sif spin-off if Marvel was up for it.
Then, this morning, I wake up to every entertainment website posting pictures of her red carpet look for the Thor: The Dark World premiere in Hollywood. Following the lead of Chris Hemsworth and showing the world you can both kick ass and look amazing, she hit the red carpet in long black dress with a cutaway panel weaving from neck to ankle. In Hollywood, this is what we call a good move I suppose, because I've seen this story about fifty times already this morning.
