In a pretty shocking move, Marvel announced that it would be teaming up with Netflix to create four live action series starring Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage.  All four series will have thirteen episode runs and culminate in a Defenders miniseries starring all four characters.  All four series will be set in Hell's Kitchen and will presumably share continuity with the movies and Marvel's Agents of SHIELD.  ABC and Marvel's Television Studio are producing the series.

The Outhouse first reported on rumors of the move last month.

The first of the Netflix exclusive series will debut in 2015.
