Remember that story we ran earlier about Del Toro saying DC had a big shared universe planned for movies and television? Well, assuming Del Toro isn't full of it, someone may want to tell DC that not having different actors playing the same role helps with the "sharing." Otherwise, we can take from this that their tv universe and their movie universe are going to stand very seperately.
The scuttlebutt for Superman vs. Batman is that Nightwing will play a part in the movie and Adam Driver is, for some reason, one of the leading candidates for the role. Now we are seeing Vampire Diaries' Steven McQueen tweeting about being Nightwing on the CW's Arrow.
Assuming McQueen isn't trying to throw fans off, it looks like Arrow is casting their own Nightwing without worrying what Snyder is doing.
It would have been nice to share the movie-verse with the television side, but if they are truly going to have the same characters appear, I guess it would be expensive to have the movie guys show up for a lowly tv show. That's probably why we've never seen Samuel Jackson make an appearance on Agents of SHIELD. Oh, wait...
