A rumor (still not confirmed) is swirling around that the hockey masked vigilante will be spared and not appear in the abomination to humanity known as Michael Bay's TMNT.
Source: Casey Jones WILL NOT Appear in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
If there's any true confirmation of Michael Bay abandoning his previous script's "aliens" interpretation of TMNT is the fact that Casey Jones might not be appearing in TMNT. Geek Tyrant is reporting that they talked to someone close to production of the film and that Casey Jones won't be appearing in the film.
More so, that Will Arnet's role (as Vern Fenwick) in the film has increased to fill the void. Given, we know the casting of Arnet, Megan Fox (April), Whoopi Goldberg (as their boss), the Turtles, Danny Woodburn, (Splinter), and William Fichtner (Shredder... damn your white wash Bay even if Fichtner is a plays bad good).
So ressasured Casey Jones fans. There is still only ONE live-action Casey Jones and it's this guy:
Now just be afraid if the movie does well and he'll be involved in the sequel. The apocalypse of childhood nostigia ripped apart by Michael Bay also known as TMNT is released in August 8, 2014. Or you could just watch the original 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles knowing Bay's version will never touch comic book cinema perfection.
