Will LEGO The Hobbit Make An (Un)Expected Journey To Game Consoles? UPDATED: Expected!

We might see a desolation of bricks in 2014.

A LEGO Brickset member found an interesting image on the back of an instruction booklet in a 2014 LEGO The Hobbit set. The image is a promotion for an unannounced LEGO The Hobbit videogame in 2014.

The image says that the game will be coming to Microsoft XBox 360, Sony Playstation (guessing 3), Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii U, and PC sometime in 2014. The listed developer is TT Games.

Another image popped up a bit later as well.

Like the movies, there was a LEGO: Lord of the Rings video game released previously (2012).video game.

UPDATE 11/25/13:

Warner Bros has confirmed the game. It will cover the first two films of The Hobbit trilogy.

Playable characters include Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf, Thorin, Fíli, Kíli, Óin, Glóin, Dwalin, Balin Bifur, Bofur, Bombur, Dori, Nori, and Ori. Each character has their own special ability. Locations include Bag End, High Pass over The Misty Mountains, Mirkwood, and Rivendell.

Supported platforms are Microsoft Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, 3DS, Sony PlayStation 3, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, PC, and Mac.
