A New JFK Conspiracy Theory Surfaces: Magneto Did It!

A new viral video for X-Men Days of Future Past targets Magneto and his role in the JFK assassination.

Writer Simon Kinberg initially planned this concept as a starting off point for the character in Days of Future Past:

I thought it would be fun to open with the Kennedy assassination, and we reveal that the magic bullet was controlled by Magneto. That would explain the physics of it, and we see that he’s pissed off because Kennedy took all the credit for saving the world and mutants weren’t even mentioned.

Half a century ago, Magneto was implicated in the mutant plot to assassinate President John F. Kennedy. The events of that fateful day in November have been a point of contention between humans and the mutants ever since. After years of incarceration, do you think Magneto is guilty or innocent? Tell us why in the comments.
