Some may have expected Carol to return by the mid-season finale, but just because she didn't show yet doesn't mean they don't have plans for her. Kirkman recently told TV Guide that fans will be seeing her soon enough and dropped a couple other tidbits about the upcoming second half of season four.
1) Carol will definitely return before the end of the season; 2) The Sanctuary, which was discussed in that radio message, will come into play; and 3) Via flashbacks, there will be glimpses into the lives of our favorite characters.
The quesiton is, with the group split up, who will she run into first? Tyrese (who doesn't know what she did yet) and the girls, whose hardcore training from Carol saved his life. Or maybe Rick, who kicked her out to begin with. We'll have to wait and see.
