Bad omens for the beleagured imprint as two editors will be abandoning ship before the move.

Bleeding Cool's resident gossip queen Rich Johnston has been all up in the business of DC Comics employees regarding whether or not they intend to move to Burbank, CA with the company in 2015. According to Johnston, Group Editor Will Dennis and Editor Mark Doyle will not be enjoying the benefits of practically legal pot and great Mexican food come April of 2015, as they'll be staying behind on the East Coast where the pizza and bagels are far superior. According to Johnston:
Recently responsible for publishing the likes of DC Vertigo publishing 100 Bullets, Scalped, DMZ, The Losers, American Vampire, Trillium, The Wake, The Joker, Before Watchmen and the upcoming The Royals: Masters of War, both Dennis and Doyle have commanded considerable loyalty from creators, even when the contracts became less attractive.
So on the one hand, it seems like they've contributed a lot to the Vertigo side of things, but on the other hand, they took part in the abomination that was Before Watchmen, the vanguard of DC's assault on the dignity of creators everywhere. Call it a wash?
