We could tell you about the "exclusive" Deadline story that offers up news that Joseph Gordon-Levitt may be starring in, as well as producing and directing Neil Gaiman's Sandman.  Or we could point out that we covered this news almost a month ago when we mixed up Morpheuses.  Or is that Morpheii?

We were mostly right, in the end.  I guess Deadline is special since Levitt is one step closer to finalizing the deal, making this stage of his "maybe starring in" an exclusive.

If Warner Bros. bites on the David Goyer script, rumor also has it that he will star as a protaganist as well as direct.
