As Bleeding Cool first reported a few months ago, DC Entertainment announced to its employees that it planned to move their Manhattan publishing office out west in 2015. Today marks the deadline for employees to inform the company whether or not they plan to head to California. Several employees have already told the company that they're staying, including Will Dennis, Mark Doyle and Wil Moss. I'm sure we'll be getting more information about who's coming and going later today.
I wish all of DC's employees the best on what's sure to be a hard day. If anything, I hope that the decisions made today bring some peace of mind to what has surely been a hectic and heart-pounding couple of weeks. As someone whose own career recently experienced some upheaval due to corporate decisions, I can empathize with how difficult it can be to make these choices, and hope that today helps to bring at least a temporary sense of peace of mind during the holidays.
On behalf of the Outhouse, good luck to all those involved in today's decisions.
