Marvel distributed a bunch of free 2014 calenders for comic book stores to give out to fans. You can get a glimpse of the free calender here:
There's only one problem: that's not a calender. A calender is a cylindrical series of presses, used to flatten paper and cloth. Marvel instead distributed a calendar, a date book often containing pictures of cats or boy bands. Coincidentally, those calendar pages probably passed through a calender at some point.
While fans hoping for paper press parts were disappointed to learn of the error, I'm sure most people are enjoying the date book despite the brazen spelling error.
