Hearing the name Lawrance Kasdan gives many a Star Wars fan a warm and fuzzy feeling, so when director Jon Schnepp says Mr. Kasdan is penning the Boba Fett spin-off movie it's almost too good to be true. If only the great Irvin Kershner were still around to direct we would be set.
One of them is Boba Fett. It is. I know. I know for a fact. I will never reveal my source, but it is the one written by Lawrence Kasdan.
Schnepp has worked with Cartoon Network (home of Clone Wars) for years now and could certainly have the sources to come across news like this. Kasdan is working with Abrams on the script to Episode VII now and it's already been previously rumored that Lawrence Kasdan and Simon Kinberg will be writing the solo spin-off Star Wars movies due to come out in alternate years between the new trilogy in 2016 and 2018, so it's really not surprising news.
