So, we told you Tuesday about the back and forth between Latino Review and Donal Logue about their scoop of his casting for Gotham. We may have poked a little fun at the fact that Logue, 47, was supposedly being cast as the twenty-something year old Gordon, according to their sources.
Well, apparently, they made a mistake and admitted to it. The writer didn't bother verifying what part Logue had been cast for and assumed it was for Gordon. After the story starting making the rounds, he revisited the issue with his source and discovered his mistake.
What Donal Logue actually got the offer was for Det. Harvey Bullock who is in his 40s and described as Gordon’s mentor in the pilot.
Though Logue was quick to shoot down the Gordon scoop, he has yet to respond to this one, so they may be onto something. It does actually make sense this time, at least. And as to the mistake, we all make them, no worries. But we still have to deduct half a scoop point if this story pans out.
