Latino Review has dropped another big scoop, this one concerning Pixar and Star Wars, both now under the Disney umbrella. According to their sources, at some point in the future, may not even be near future, Pixar will be taking their animation to the Star Wars universe.
Now, we all know that Disney has a lot more plans for Star Wars than just Episodes VII, VIII & IX, with solo spin-off movies like Boba Fett and more. Whatever future Pixar project this will become will probably be one of them, perhaps even several years away.
I guess if Disney was going to go animated for a Star Wars movie, Pixar had best handle it. I'd rather see the people behind Wall-E and Toy Story working on it, than the Disney animation folks that brought us Planes and
Cars 2 (I'm told they did make Cars 2, but I refuse to believe this).
