'Ant-man' Takes Batman vs Superman's Old Release Date

Director Edgar Wright said it would be a heist movie, and they start off by nabbing the empty date left by Man of Steel 2.

If you were wondering what you were going to do on July 17, 2015 now that Warner Bros. moved Superman vs Batman into 2016, Marvel has you covered.  Variety is reporting that Ant-man just took the spot.  It was previously slated for July 31st.  The only other major movie at this time it will go up against in Pan, whose date was just moved up recently when Warners announced the Superman vs Batman delay.

So far we know Edgar Wright is directing, Paul Rudd will be playing Scott Lang and Michael Douglas will be playing Hank Pym.  A handful of other casting rumors surround the movie, but not much more is officially known yet.
