Screw You, Bleeding Cool; Here's Another Powerpuff Girls Article

In our quest to top Bleeding Cool's count of articles about the controversial Powerpuff Girls cover, The Outhouse will stop at nothing to achieve victory.

Bleeding Cool published another article today about the Powerpuff Girls cover that was pulled last week after provoking outrage for its sexualized depiction of the kindergarten characters, who were dressed in heavy makeup, latex mini-dresses, and thigh high boots. This one is personally written by Professor Dennis L. Barger The Second Esquire, the man who kicked off the controversy when he first posted about the cover on Facebook, and it focuses on why children are important to the survival of the comic book industry. The article also puts Bleeding Cool ahead of The Outhouse by one two articles in the race to publish as many articles about this topic as possible, though this article will cut that lead in half, putting the score at 5-4 Bleeding Cool.

Asked for comment on the brewing war of articles between the two sites, Bleeding Cool chief rumormonger Rich Johnston reportedly said, "You wanna know how to get The Outhouse? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. They send one of yours to the hospital, you send one of theirs to the morgue. They publish a 5000 word editorial about sexy cartoon characters, you publish a comic book retailer's missive on kids in comic shops. That's the Bleeding Cool way! And that's how you get The Outhouse. Now do you want to do that? Are you ready to do that? I'm offering you a deal. Do you want this deal?"

"Pip pip," Johnston reportedly added, remembering that he is stereotypically British. He then pointed out that Bleeding Cool managed to slip in the following barbiturate-fueled cosplay photograph in one of their articles, all the while maintaining an air of moral superiority, whereas the best The Outhouse could muster was a bunch of Zenescope covers featuring Little Red Riding Hood presenting for the reader.

*Ahem.*

The Outhouse and, let's face it, pretty much everyone has said all there really is to be said about this topic by this point, but we've come this far in our war with Bleeding Cool to see who can produce the most articles about it, and there's no turning back now. Check out Bleeding Cool's latest article here (though by the time we hit publish, they will probably have a new one up). Then check back with The Outhouse for a recap article summarizing all of our past articles about this subject, followed by a rebuttal to the recap article, which should put us back in the lead.
