DC tosses us a softball, and we leap on it like a poor sports analogy.
While a good deal of fans have already lost hope in DC's Dark Line, the comic publisher is encouraging its fans to give up before reading its next crossover event. DC released a new teaser entitled "Abandon All Hope", featuring a bunch of 'Dark' characters sitting on a boat. The image appears to be colored using a palette made exclusively of browns, and also prominently features Aquaman's disembodied arm, which we hope means that Aquaman will be having it chopped off soon. I don't recognize all the characters, but I think I see a female version of Frank Miller's Xeres (from 300) standing behind Constantine, so maybe this is a weird crossover of some sorts. Also, the Question (dressed in a brown trenchcoat) is also featured front and center, so fans of that character might want to watch.
Here it is in all it's glory:
In summation, if you want to read a brown comic book featuring Aquaman's arm, Socks the Talking Cat, and Nightmare Nurse, this is the comics crossover for you. Otherwise, abandon all hope for DC, and read Revival instead, which is a genuinely scary book, and not just scarily bad.
