The Top Five Thor Threequels Written by Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost

There's actually only one, and it will be the next one, as Kyle will be moving from his executive position at Marvel Studios to screenwriter for Thor 3.

Yesterday, Marvel announced that Craig Kyle, who had been languishing for the past several years in the Dilbertesque hell of upper management as SVP of Production and Development at Marvel Studios, will rejoin longtime collaborator Chris Yost to write the screenplay for Thor 3. Yost and Kyle were at one time a fan favorite writing team, with popular runs on New X-Men: Academy X, X-Force, and X-Force: Sex and Violence, a PG-13 rated softcore porno centering around Wolverine and Domino doing the nasty. Kyle and Yost also created X-23, a female clone of Wolverine.

When The Kyle and Yost writing team broke up, a lot of fans compared it to the breakup of The Beatles, except that Lennon and McCartney have never written anything as terrible as the X-Force super-mega-crossover event, Necrosha. Still, it's nice to see these boys back together again, and we're sure Thor 3 is going to be fantastic with those two writing the story. In honor of that, we'd like to present the Top 5 Kyle and Yost screenplays of all time.

The Top 5 Kyle and Yost Thor Screenplays of All Time

1. Thor 3

Kyle and Yost will reunite to write the screenplay for the third installment of Thor. Kyle served as executive producer on Thor 2: The Dark World, which was released in November and became Marvel's third highest grossing film. Yost co-wrote the screenplay for Thor 2.

And...

That's the only one, folks, so it wins by default. Sorry about that. Stay tuned to The Outhouse, where it's Top Five Day all day long. We'll be bringing you all the best Top Five lists in place of our usual snarky but informative articles.
