Adult Swim Expands Into Primetime

The block of adult cartoon/programing on Cartoon Network expands to 8 pm (ET) starting March 31.

Once again, Adult Swim gobbles up another yet hour of block from Cartoon Network. As revealed via the New York Times, the adult block of animated shows and programs will be expanding to 8 pm (ET) starting March 31. The block will run until it's usual 6 am (ET) slot.


There is no word yet on what programing will air, but it's safe to say it'll probably be an hour either Family Guy, Cleveland Show, King of the HIll, or American Dad. Or fingers crossed, reruns of Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law. Which in turn would mean more Phil, which in turn would be a VERY good thing:




Though if not that then maybe more Venture Brothers, and in turn more Brock Samson:
