THR is reporting that Robert Kirkman, creator of Walking Dead, will be producing Air, a sci-fi film set in an underground cryogenic facility after a nuclear fall-out renders the atmosphere unbreathable
Christian Cantamessa, game designer behind Red Dead Redemption and GTA: San Andreas, wrote the script. Chris Pasetto will make his feature directorial debut. Djimon Hounsou who was just seen recently in the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer as Korath the Pursuer will join Walking Dead star Norma Reedus to headline the film.
The two will play custodial workers who "take care of the cryogenically sleeping personnel that are to re-establish society, but they struggle to preserve their own sanity and lives while maintaining the extremely fragile environment of the last livable place on earth."
