Report: Meredith Finch to Write Wonder Woman Series

Finch is artist David Finch's wife and agent.

Bleeding Cool is reporting that Meredith Finch, David Finch's wife and agent, will be the new writer of Wonder Woman after Brian Azzarello and Cliff Chiang finish up their run on the book later this year.  Finch's sole writing credit (that we can find) is a Tales of Oz book by Zenescope, so at the very least, she knows how to write a comic book with a half naked woman on its cover.

I wish I could give more of a reaction about this news, but I honestly don't know how to react.  I think it's great that DC is giving a new(?) female writer a go on Wonder Woman, so let's go with that reaction.  I guess we'll file this under "Decidedly Neutral News" and call it a day.
