DC Comics announced today that it would be supplying The Outhouse with a fresh batch of images for the website to use when mocking the company next month. The publisher revealed a fresh set of Mad Magazine variant covers that will be released in April, which will then immediately be used by the Outhouse in conjunction with articles that are critical of the company. As one of pop culture's most well-known idiots, Mad icon Alfred E. Neuman makes the perfect mascot for DC Comics' rampant stupidity. However, Neuman usually only appears in comic-book related images when Mad parodies a superhero movie. The release of 21 DC Comics themed Neuman variants will replenish decades worth of image stores in a single month.
"We've enjoyed our partnership with DC during our elaborately planned smear campaign," said Outhouse Editor in Chief Christian Hoffer. "And we look forward to using the covers as thumbnails for satire so blatant, you'd have to be a moron to think it's real."
"We have a lot of morons who think it's real," added Hoffer. "A lot of morons."
"We're happy to provide the Outhouse with all their image needs," said DC Co-Publisher Dan Didio. "Personally, I enjoy being compared to the likes of Vladmir Putin, Lord Business, and medieval despots, and I'm glad these covers will be put to good use by the site."
"Better that we provide these images rather than the Outhouse actually paying artists to draw original mocking artwork, am I right, Christian?"
"Damn straight, Dan!" said Hoffer, high fiving Didio. "Who the hell actually pays people for contributing creatively to their company/website?"
