Howdy folks, Stoneman here. As you all know, I can't stand the endless buffoonery that the writers here at The Outhouse constantly engage in, so when I saw that a trailer for the new Batman video game, Arkham Knight, had been released, I knew I had better jump on it before some ne'erdowell decided to make a big joke out of it. That's not what comics and comic-related journalism should be about.
Especially when it's coming from usual Outhouse video game correspondent Jeremy Shane, who is the worst of the bunch. Jeremy is currently at the dentist getting a root canal, which is less painful than reading one of his articles. But let me stop myself before this article starts to become too entertaining. I could never forgive myself.
Here's the trailer, with absolutely no funny or opinionated commentary whatsoever:
The game will be out for PS4, X-Box One, and PC, and will supposedly let you drive the Batmobile. Sounds a little too exciting for me. Maybe they should tone it down a bit. Maybe Batman hangs around the Batcave and plays a nice game of canasta. I would definitely play that.
Batman: Arkham Knight will be developed by Rocksteady Studios, the originators of the franchise. They say it will be their last Batman game, but it's unknown whether the series will be handed off to another developer.
Thanks to Game Informer for the following images, as if you couldn't tell where they came from by their logo plastered all over everything. Good for them, I say. Why should other sites be able to reap the benefits of their payola relationship with WB Games? Speaking of which, Game Informer has promised one month of EXCLUSIVE coverage of Arkham Knight. They deserve it, IMO.
Here's an EXCLUSIVE video from Game Informer too. Man, I love those guys!
Stay tuned to The Outhouse for more bland and boring straight comic book and video game news, at least if I can help it. Stoneman out.
