Marvel released a special teaser image today revealing more plot details about their upcoming super-mega-crossover event, Original Sin. While early press indicated the event would focus on the death of The Watcher and the ensuing fallout and investigation, the teaser image heavily implies that the plot will actually be about Captain America's frustration with the tone-deaf asral form singing of Doctor Strange and other members of the Illuminati at the secret group's weekly Karaoke night. Check out the image below, in which Cap is hunched over and clutching his ears to escape the tone-deaf caterwalling of Doctor Strange's astral form while other Illuminati members await their turn to inflict sonic torture on the sentinel of liberty.
"It will play itself out through time, space, dimensions -- all the kinds of things that you would think of in a Marvel event," said Marvel Editor in Chief Axel Alonso in an interview with CBR. "But the stakes as it relates to our heroes and villains and bystanders are much more emotional and much more internal than they are external, for the first time in a good long while.
Alonso also teased a duet of I've Got You Babe between Black Panther and Namor and promised that Black Bolt's performance of Louie Louie would bring down the house (of Ideas).
