If you're a fan of Forever Evil, you'll be waiting until May to find out exactly how the event ends. Forever Evil #7, Nightwing #30, Justice League #30 and Justice League of America #14 have all been delayed until May 21, according to a new report by Newsarama. DC had previously announced that all four books would be delayed from their original release date this week to mid-April.
While DC has not given an official reason for the delay, the Outhouse has learned from an EXCLUSIVE anonymous tip that Dan Didio was so upset from seeing all four of his Final Four picks for this year's inter-office bracket get knocked out in the first two rounds that he set unpaid DC intern (and reigning March Madness Office Pool champion) Vlad Kozinkerkov's desk on fire during a drunken bender. This in turn caused DC's sprinker system to go off, ruining all the artwork in the office, including pages from Forever Evil #7.
While we don't know if this is true or not, we're out to prove that we have the same journalistic integrity of other comic blogs so we'll not only run with the theory but also not disclose that the "EXCLUSIVE anonymous tip" was actually a 4chan post with at least three misspellings in it. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO, comic journalism!
Anyways, I wouldn't say this is counter resettable, since DC has given retailers ample warning as has delayed the release of the comics that would presumably spoil the ending of the event. Still, I'm sure there will be at least a few fans unhappy about this news.
