Oh BOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY we've got the trailer to the newest Phantasm movie right here!!!!
Source: 'Phantasm: Ravager' cast details and teaser trailer -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO
Earlier this week, we reported on the announcement of Phantasm V: Ravager. Well, guess what: the trailer is here! Entertainment Weekly had the chance to debut it and reveal the full facts on the movie. Yes, David Hartman is directing and writing the movie. Yes, series creator Don Coscarelli co-wrote the script and is producing the film (and talks on why he handed the series to Hartman).
Series regulars Angus Scrimm, Reggie Bannister, Michael Baldwin, Bill Thornbury, and Kat Lester all appear in the movie!!! The movie was shot over the last two years in California, and it truly is the greatest trick in filmdom that this was so well hidden from fans (there were reports but nothing ever concreate). So enough talk, HERE'S THE TRAILER:
No word yet on when the movie will premiere, BUT... it should be worth pointing out on August 8-10, Flashback Weekend: the Chicago Horror Convention will be having a Phantasm: 35th Anniversary celebration, and everyone involved with this movie will be there. Now if you excuse me, this reporter has to get tickets for that event.
