Source: SPIDER-MAN 2099 Swings Again In New Ongoing Series with Peter David
Earlier this morning, former news site and current public relations firm, Newsarama, posted an article announcing the launch of a new Spider-Man 2099 series written by Peter David (who wrote 44 of the 46 original issues) and drawn by Will Sliney (Pigs.)
I have to admit, I am pretty excited about this. Spider-Man 2099 was the first book I followed regularly when I first started this habit, and the eventual decline, implosion, and cancelation of the 2099 universe is one of the most depressing things that has ever happened to me regarding comic books. So this made me pretty happy.
If you want to read the press release, head over to The Rama. Until then, here’s the images they posted, including (unfortunately) a cover by Simone Bianchi.

RU, or as he’s known in the writers’ room: the cute one, is relatively unappreciated in his time. RU’s YouTube show, RUviews is watched by literally multiple people every month and his Outhouse articles have helped line many a bird cage. Before you send RU a message, he knows that there are misspelled words in this article, and probably in this bio he was asked to write. RU wants everyone to know that after 25+ years of collecting he still loves comic books and can’t believe how seriously fanboys take them. RU lives in Akron Ohio (unfortunately) with WIFE, ‘lilRuRu, and the @DogGodThor. You can also find him on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, & even Google+ (if anyone still uses that).
