The boyfriend will play Edward Nigma in the upcoming police procedural teen drama.
Entertainment Weekly has revealed that Emilia Clarke's boyfriend has been cast as The Riddler in Fox's Gotham today. The Game of Thrones star's boyfriend is listed as a guest star for the pilot with an option to become a series regular. The character is described thusly:
In the Fox project from showrunner Bruno Heller (Rome), Nygma is a brilliant young forensic scientist working for Gotham PD and a penchant for speaking in … rather cryptic language. Inquisitive, eccentric and outgoing — yet socially awkward — he wants to be liked, but he doesn’t quite know how.
You may find other websites using his name and listing the Broadway plays he's been in as if they actually knew who he was beforehand, but they're just trying to look knowledgeable. Don't front, comics media - no one knows this dude as anything other than Emilia Clarke's boyfriend. That's not to say he might not distinguish himself in the role, and he might be a fine actor, but come on, comics bloggers. You haven't seen fucking Breakfast at Tiffany's on Broadway. You got that shit from Google.
