Toonzone reports that Fox Searchlight, a subsidiary of some sort of Fox, is planning a superhero movie for later this year called Birdman. The film will star Michael Keaton as an actor who plays an iconic superhero in movies but then has trouble starting up a Broadway play. It will reportedly have nothing to do with the Hanna Barbara Birdman who was rebooted in the early days of Adult Swim as Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law, despite looking just like him and being just as absurd. The movie is being billed as a dark comedy. Zack Galifianakis will co-star as a fat weirdo.
As far as we can tell, this isn't a belated April Fools joke, as it's popping up on several real sites. Okay then. Enjoy this:
