Settled for now anyway.
Source: The Third Hobbit Is Now Subtitled The Battle Of The Five Armies
After a few rounds of unofficial title changes (There and Back Again, The Battle of Five Armies, Into the Fire), the third Hobbit movie finally has a title: The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies.
The title is based on a battle in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit book and has the Goblins and Wargs (and some bats) up against the forces of Man, Elves, Dwarves, and Eagles.
Peter Jackson confirmed the new movie title, but did say "There and Back Again" could be used for a future boxed set of the Hobbit movie trilogy.
The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies charges into theaters on December 17, 2014.
