Constantine is officially becoming a television show, too.
NBC has announced that it has picked up Constantine up for series. The show, starring NFL quarterback Matt Ryan as DC's master of the occult, will air next fall. Dexter's Daniel Cerone will executive produce the series, which insiders are guessing will be paired up with Grimm next fall.
This marks the fourth television series adapted from a DC Comics property picked up by networks this fall. Gotham, starring younger versions of Batman and his supporting cast, was picked up by Fox earlier this week, while The Flash and iZombie was picked up by the CW earlier today. Meanwhile, Marvel continues to struggle on television, with ABC withholding whether Agents of SHIELD will return for a second season.
