Last week, the family of Bill Finger, the uncredited co-creator of Batman responsible for many key elements of the character, announced that it was looking into options to help the deceased creator finally gain recognitions for his contributions to the character. Yesterday, a new Facebook page popped up to help support Finger's cause and pressure DC and Fox into adding Finger's name to the credits of the upcoming Fox show Gotham.
Gotham City, along with Jim Gordon and several other elements of the show, were created by Finger, although a legal agreement between DC predecessor National Comics and Bob Kane gives full credit to Kane.
While the Facebook page has a rather unfortunate URL, the cause is a good one that the Outhouse has long supported. After two days, the Facebook page already has over 750 likes. We're not sure what the page can do to help the Finger family's cause, but the more the public knows, the better. So, if you're interested, go here and "Like" the Facebook page.
