Grayson creators Tom King and Tim Seeley revealed to Newsarama that DC's newest sexy spy Dick Grayson will be getting himself a sexy spy partner. What's more, that sexy spy partner and Grayson actually have history together, or at least they did before DC went and demolished their continuity a few years ago.
Grayson's self-titled series will feature Helena Bertinelli, the once and probably future Huntress, as his trainer and partner. King and Seeley stressed that Bertinelli isn't Helena Wayne, the Huntress running around in World's Finest, but rather the post-Crisis daughter of mobsters popularized in Birds of Prey and featured in Arrow. It should be noted that an early issue of World's Finest noted that Bertinelli had supposedly died prior to Huntress adopting her identity, but it's not like super spies don't fake their deaths all the time.
Bertinelli will be much more proficient at spycraft than Grayson, and both writers stressed that he'd have a lot to learn from her as the series progressed. They also clarified that Grayson would be using a gun in the series, and will address the fact that Batman never taught him to shoot one.
So, there's your little tidbit of positive news for the day. I'm sure there's a few dozen Bertinelli fans that are pleased she's coming back, so rejoice in the comments.
