Will the Mad Titan get the exposure he deserves in the upcoming film?
Source: How Much Thanos Will You See in Guardians of the Galaxy?
Last week it was revealed that Josh Brolin will be playing Thanos in this Summer's Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Thanos only had a few seconds of a mid-credits reveal in The Avengers movie, will Brolin have more of a role? Well, according to an unrevealed source for Vulture, he will. At least a little.
-- Warning: potential (minor) SPOILERS for Guardians of the Galaxy follow --
Vulture claims that much of Thanos' appearances will be via hologram throughout the film. However, he will be featured "live" for one scene in conversation with his henchpeople Ronan (played by Lee Pace) and Nebula (Karen Gillan).
So his appearances seem to be brief but at least more numerous (maybe he'll even be mentioned by name this time). If Marvel does good for its fans this is only a tease for a big Thanos cinematic blowout in the future. We'll see.
Keep an eye out for the purple wrinkly one (I mean Thanos) in Guardians of the Galaxy landing in theaters August 1, 2014.
