We heard about this rumor the other day, but Emily Blunt is trending right now because of a story where she almost killed Tom Cruise while performing stunts with him in Edge of Tomorrow (try harder next time, Emily), so we figure now is a good time to run it. It's being reported by the Belfast Telegraph (along with every gossip site on the planet, but we're blaming those protestent buggers - Sinn Fein!) that Blunt is in talks with Warner Bros. to join the cast of the unfortunately titled Superman v. Batman: Dawn of Justice, next year's upcoming summer blockbuster courtroom drama. Blunt reportedly turned down a role as Black Widow in Iron Man 2, so here's her chance to make up for what was, to put it bluntly, a poor decision. There's no official announcement, so take this with a grain of salt. Well, take it however you want. We've already got your unique hit, that's what matters in the game of Hollywood gossip.
