Can this director bring it on?
Source: Peyton Reed Chosen As ‘Ant-Man’ Director; Adam McKay Will Help Script
Ever since Edgar Wright's break-up with Marvel over the Ant-Man movie, fans have been wondering who will take over to helm this project. Yesterday, two other names were shortlisted to direct the movie and it seems like today we have a new director.
And the winnah (?) is…
Peyton Reed was the director on such films as "Bring It On", "The Break-Up", and "Yes Man". He also did work on "Back to the Future: The Animated Series" and "The Weird Al Show" on television.
It's also being said that former Ant-Man-director-in-the-running Adam McKay (Anchorman, Talladega nights) will help to script the film.
And yes, as stated before, we'll see how long it takes before he pulls himself off the project. Time is shrinking though, Ant-Man is scheduled to fly into theaters July 17, 2015.
