Source: Mark Ruffalo Says Marvel Once Again Considering the Idea of Hulk Solo Film
While talk about a Hulk solo film has been rumbling ever since the Avengers movie in 2012, Marvel has previously said "no" (though ABC expressed interest in a television show). It seems that the idea may be closer to fruition as Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo says that Marvel is now "entertaining the idea of it" in an interview with Digital Spy.
A Hulk solo movie is not such a far-fetched idea, as Ruffalo has already signed a six-picture deal for the Hulk role. Ruffalo himself has expressed interest in a solo Hulk film, so if the opportunity arises we just might see one. Don't get your hopes up to high though, as the actor says:
"…there's still nothing definitive, not even a skeletal version of what it would be. I look forward to going down that road, if we could crack that nut. I think the Banner/Hulk storyline is obviously not easy a tough nut to crack."
Check out the interview with Ruffalo which also has a tidbit about Avengers: Age of Ultron in it:
So, what do you readers think? Do you want to see a solo Hulk movie? Will Marvel be a Leader and make a great film? Or wiould it be an Abomination? Either way, Marvel would probably be seeing a lot of green if it happens. Stay tuned!
