Well, it looks like S.H.I.E.L.D. disbanding (spoiler alert!) has its repercussions. Seems like the Black Widow will be ditching the Corvette Stingray she had in Captain America: The Winter Soldier for a smaller (and greener) mode of transportation in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Or maybe she just stole it for that scene.
It turns out that the motorcycle that Scarlett Johanson's (Black Widow) stunt double was caught riding on video is a special new model. The not-yet-on-the-market motorcycle is referred to as "Project Livewire" by its maker Harley-Davidson, and unlike the traditional Harley, this one is electric.
The bike is described as still having "tire-shredding acceleration" but with an "unmistakable new sound". Not the roar of a Harley then. The Outhouse has a guess as to what this electric beast might sound like:
Imagine THAT in an Avengers movie! Kickass!
No? Well, then it will probably sound more like this:
Teaming up with Harley-Davidson isn't new for Marvel. There was a promotion with Iron Man 3 and Cap rode one in both Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Marvel also teamed up for special promotional comics featuring Harley-Davidson with their Iron Man and Avengers characters.
We'll see if the Black Widow and the bike survive the movie.
