Not a joke, not a lie, just a short story about a 34 year old Harry Potter.
JK Rowling has released a new Harry Potter short story entitled "Dumbledore's Army Reunites", which focuses on a 34 year Potter attending the Quidditch World Cup with sons, James and Albus. The story is written as a gossip column written by Rita Skeeter, and takes shots at Potter and several of his friends. Ron, Ginny, Neville and Hermoine all make appearances in the story, which reveals a little bit more about the famed characters since the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.
There is one tiny catch, however: the story is only available to subscribers of Rowling's Harry Potter site, Pottermore.com. Rowling's spokesperson has also said that Rowling has no other plans to write future stories about Potter and his friends, but they said that before this story was announced too.
Pottermore's probably crashing because of all the traffic right now, but when it clears up, you should probably give it a look.
