June 2014 Comics Sales: Marvel Retains Market Lead,

DC has 5 of Top 10 Comic Books, Marvel has 4

Source: Diamond Comics

Diamond Comics Distributors has released their Top Products for June 2014. As in previous months, Marvel has retained their lead on both Unit and Market Share as Top Publisher, with DC Comics coming in a close second.

Batman #32 was the Top Comic Issue.

After analysis it was determined that the rises and declines offset each other. So in effect, the overall June 2014 comic book and graphic novel sales were nearly  the same as one year ago for the same month.

Other notable Top Products:

- The DC Bombshells: Black Canary Statue was the Best-Selling Toy.
- Hasbro's Risk: Legacy was the Best-Selling Game.
- Archie Comics' smash hit, Afterlife with Archie Volume 1: Escape from Riverdale was the Best-Selling Graphic Novel.

While the overly excessive analyses are still being calculated, the preliminary stats and graphs can be found below for your viewing pleasure !

About the Author - IvCNuB4

IvCNuB4 likes to maintain an air of mystery by never publicly revealing his true name unless you are one of the four lucky Outhouse posters he has PM'd it to. A life-long Chicago native, he was introduced to comics by his older brother's vast collection of Silver Age issues. When he is not at his day job as an IT geek or making the most of Chicago's three months of incredible summer, he can found spending way too much time with his very large, very loud Italian family. You will never find him on the likes of Facebook or Twitter as he scoffs at the necessity of most forms of social media.
