More news we missed from last week.
In addition to missing the Robbie Amell/Firestorm casting, the Outhouse can EXCLUSIVELY report that we're a few days late in reporting that William Sadler will be playing Simon Stagg in The Flash. Sadler is best known for his roles in The Shawshank Redemption, Roswell, Bill and Ted's Most Bogus Journey (he was the Grim Reaper) and Iron Man 3 (he was the president). Stagg is best known for being Metamorpho's quasi-villainous father in law, and generally unscrupulous businessman. Sadler first announced the news via Twitter.
Stagg's been hinted at a couple of times in Arrow, first as a former benefactor of Laurel's non-profit CNRI. One of Stagg's factories was later burnt down by Firefly in season 2.
Sadler will first appear in Arrow's second episode. No word on whether this is a recurring role, or just a one time thing.
