Source: "AXIS," "LOGAN LEGACY" ARRIVE IN MARVEL'S SOLICITATIONS FOR OCTOBER 2014
Although “canceled” and “final issue” are about as meaningful as “death” is nowadays when it comes to comic books, the world was stunned this afternoon when Marvel’s October solicitations had this to say
BEN ACKER & BEN BLACKER (W)
KIM JACINTO (A)
Cover by DAVID YARDIN
• The Punisher vs. the Thunderbolts – FINAL CHAPTER
• Will the Thunderbolts prove to be the complete failure Punisher believes them to be?
• This final issue of the series will reveal all.
32 PGS./Parental Advisory …$2.99
Holy crap! Thunderbolts will still only be $2.99! But, I digress.
This new volume of Thunderbolts started off… poorly, with one of the worst written and drawn comics on the shelves at the time, but 31 issues and a creative change turned the book into a fun, violent, romp through the dark underbelly of heroism. Also, Ben Acker & Ben Blacker seem to be some of the few writers who can make Deadpool funny and good at what he does, with many a mission saved through his unique thought process.
I’ll miss this version of the Thunderbolts, but wouldn’t mind the original team getting back together, maybe as a foil, champion, or “police force” on Zemo’s criminal island (or whatever is going on over in Avengers Undercover – which is a really good book you should read.)
Our friends at Nix Comics are sponsoring The Outhouse this week. Show them you appreciate it by checking out their comics. One dollar from every Nix Comics sold this month will go to Kirby-4-Heroes.

RU, or as he’s known in the writers’ room: the cute one, is relatively unappreciated in his time. RU’s YouTube show, RUviews is watched by literally multiple people every month and his Outhouse articles have helped line many a bird cage. Before you send RU a message, he knows that there are misspelled words in this article, and probably in this bio he was asked to write. RU wants everyone to know that after 25+ years of collecting he still loves comic books and can’t believe how seriously fanboys take them. RU lives in Akron Ohio (unfortunately) with WIFE, ‘lilRuRu, and the @DogGodThor. You can also find him on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, & even Google+ (if anyone still uses that).
